PLOT:
Four children find themselves in the same dream, unable to wake up. As they explore this dream world and meet its rhyming guardians, the children realize that their memories are missing as well. Join them on this epic adventure full of puzzles, battles, and mysteries to discover who trapped them inside this dream, and how to stop the evil plan from corrupting more dreams before it’s too late. However, more and more they discover that true evil lies where they least expect.

MATH:
Ninegate is a clever blend of math and role-playing game series. All math learning is seamlessly integrated into the gameplay and story dialog. While we do cover some calculation tips, Ninegate is more about connecting the dots between mathematical definitions and their real-world applications. In this game, the focus is addition.

The story takes place in 2015, but much of the game occurs in the dream world of Ninegate. Technological gadgets clash with the fantasy landscape. It is up to players to piece together the link between the cold logic of numbers and the boundless possibilities of imagination. In this way, players will experience math like never before. They learn, review, and practice through dialog, playing with original puzzles, and gaining magical abilities.

UNIQUE FEATURES:
1: Length: All Ninegate games are lengthy and involved, just like learning itself. A typical story arc may take 20 hours of playtime to finish, and will cover a big topic such as basic operations in its entirety. Due to memory constraints, we will often divide one story arc into a series of smaller games. We recommend you play only 10-20 minutes in one sitting, and digest the key concepts with your children before continuing.

2. Focus on reasoning: If you’re looking for math with just numbers, this game is not for you. While we do cover some calculation tips, Ninegate is more about connecting the dots between mathematical definitions and their real-world applications.

3. Unique lessons: Lack of practice is not the only reason a student suffers in math class. Sometimes, they might not have understood a concept from last year or the year before. That’s why Ninegate starts from the most basic topics and present everything in a new light. All puzzles and problems are accompanied by introductory lessons and hints.

4. Memorable math: Ninegate lessons are driven by character dialog and plot points. All scenery, characters, and battles are designed to reinforce fundamental math concepts.
